Leeds United slipped to third in the Championship standings after a 4-1 drubbing at the hands of fellow promotion chasers West Brom on Saturday.
The Peacocks now stand three points behind leaders Norwich City heading into November’s international break and just four ahead of tenth-placed QPR, which results in a very competitive battle at the top which increases the importance of the busy festive period.
In a result that is arguably the worst so far under Marcelo Bielsa’s guidance, there were not too many positives for fans to call upon but many reacted in improved spirits when responding to a message from one first-team star.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Pontus Jansson apologised for the disappointing result and was met with a surge of positive messages from many supporters – who urged the Sweden international to keep his head up and ensure a response is shown in two week’s time.
We have gathered some of the best reactions below.
P17 and 30 Points, 3rd in the league we will learn from this defeat, we are in contention playing some good football, if you said to me 17 played and we would 3rd in league at start of season I would have probably said “ Yes write” MOT

Next game is crucial, it’s how we bounce back! Yesterday was a premier league quality opponent, we were outplayed. Not sure how. Need to play no fear football. We looked scared yesterday.
