Leeds United manager Neil Warnock says he wants to know before the end of the season whether the players who are soon to be out of contract want to stay at Elland Road.
Leeds have a number of players coming to the end of their current contracts in the summer, most notably Aidy White and Michael Brown who are performing admirably for the first team under Warnock.
Adam Clayton, Robert Snodgrass and Ross McCormack will all be going into the last twelve months of their current contracts in the summer and Warnock wants to put things to bed, sooner rather than later.
Speaking at Thursday`s press conference, Warnock said, “I am going to get around to speaking to the players in the next ten days. I would like an initial reaction, not just from the players but also the agents and people that represent them.
“I don`t like leaving things until the summer. I think you should try to put them to bed as soon as possible.”
Only seven players are currently contracted to the club past the summer of 2013.
