Vital Leeds is once again this summer going to catch up with Vital Leeds members and get to know them a little bit better.

First up is Andy Ladley who goes by the user name AndyCapsXI.

Name/User Name…….. Andy Ladley (AndyCapsXI)

How long have you been supporting Leeds?……..Since I can remember.

What made you decided ‘Leeds` was the team for you?…..Although my parents weren’t particularly into football when I was a kid, my uncle was the Leeds physio at the time, so that had me hooked straight away. Also living just outside of Wakefield, Leeds were my local team.

What was the first Leeds game you saw?….I think it was Barnsley in the FA Cup in the early 90’s. We won 4-0.

Favourite ground ever been to?…..The ‘old’ Wembley. Amazing ground and atmosphere, just a shame the result wasn’t as impressive in my one and only visit there (3-0 to the Villa in the league cup).

Ground you hate going to?…..Anfield. Something about 40,000+ scousers all singing ‘you’ll never walk alone’ which really really annoys me. The last time I went, we lost 5-0 and I somehow managed to miss place my car after the game for 3 hours, lol.

Will there be any new grounds for you to visit next season?…..I haven’t been to many away games for a few years but hoping to make a few next season, if I can save the pennies. Would like to go to Nottingham Forest, Derby & Middlesbrough.

Have you any rituals before a game?…..Not really, although I did go through a phase of having to buy a programme at every home game, as whenever I seemed to get one, we always won.

If there was one Leeds player you could bring back from the past to play now, who would it be?…..David Batty. The current Leeds team are crying out for a player even half as good as Batts in the team.

Is there any player you`ve ever felt sorry to see leave?….. Oli Dacourt. I was a massive fan of Dacourt. His all round game and work rate was faultless. Not entirely sure what went on behind closed doors with him and Venables but Leeds lost a quality player due to their disagreement.

What is your favourite food?…..Pizza (Dominos).

Is there anyone you would like to/would have liked to have been for a day?….David Batty back in the 90’s, just to experience the buzz of walking out on to Elland Pitch in front of 40,000 fans. Then being able to play just behind the likes of Macca, Speed & Strachan……..quality!

What was the last song/album you listened too?…..Prodigy – Fat of the land…….. excellent album!

My Bloody Valentine 3D……….poor!

And what was the last film you watched on TV/DVD?….Superbad (must of seen it over ten times now and it still has me in stitches).

What`s your favourite smell?…. BBQ on summers afternoon.

When you`re out with friends what do you usually end up discussing?…..Football in general. Tend to find that after 6+ pints we should all be managing Leeds/England.

Thanks for your answers Andy.
