Both Gaetano Berardi and Adam Forshaw have the chance to play against Millwall the weekend after this according to Phil Hay.

Berardi picked up a slight knock recently whilst Forshaw has been out since the start of the season with something a little more substantial.

However, both could be in with a chance to face the Lions with Berardi appearing the closest to play.

Hay said via the Inside Elland Road podcast (26:40):

“It does sound as well that Berardi will be okay for the Millwall game as well.

“We’re not entirely clear about the nature of his injury but it doesn’t sound major, and the club are optimistic about that. He should be fine.

“I don’t think Adam Forshaw will be far away for Millwall. He will be very close.”

This is, of course, good news.

Berardi has started the season well and seems a favourite of Bielsa’s whilst Forshaw is a top midfielder.

Whether or not he would come straight back into the side remains to be seen, though, thanks to the form of Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich.

Without doubt, though, it is better to have these players fit than not and hopefully they won’t pick up any more knocks in the coming weeks and months.
