Following our earlier wobble in results, Leeds United are back on a run of unbeaten in three, and with today’s victory over Reading at Elland Road, it’s now back to back wins once again.
Welcoming Reading to our home soil, we had our usual control and dominance under manager Marcelo Bielsa, but with the visitors battling back hard, we needed a second half winner from Pablo Hernandez to send all three points and the win our way.
In terms of the battle for the top, the result keeps us four points off top spot with West Bromwich Albion still holding that advantage, but following their draw on Friday evening, we are now five points ahead of third placed Fulham.
Plenty of games left to close the gap when it comes to the title challenge, we just need to keep on taking our chances when they come along.
But the win will do for this weekend and it should further calm the nerves that had developed.
