Time For Another Key Man To Go At Leeds?

Oh wow.

What on Earth happened last night?

Do we dare look back at it, do we even bother trying to dissect that absolutely cacophony of rubbish that was our performance yesterday evening?

Unfortunately, for the sake of this piece existing and for my personal sanity we do, and I can only apologise but I`ll try and make it as upbeat as possible (some hope.)

Let`s, then, start with a positive and that was the young man in goal.

Felix Wiedwald has had a shocker this season, we`re well aware of that, so kudos to Paul Heckingbottom for putting in Bailey Peacock-Farrell between the sticks.

He`s no doubt been eager to start for some time and he did himself no harm with a performance that spared our blushes a little – it could have been a much heavier defeat.Okay, now onto the main negative of the piece.

Certainly, I could berate a number of our ‘stars` for their performance, I could also have a go at the manager but, I won`t, because there`s one man I think is to blame for this whole season – Victor Orta.

When we brought him in I was impressed that Andrea had looked to implement a better structure at the club as we aimed to add to the squad.

Since, though, most of Orta`s signings – his main job in all of this – have been below par far too often than not.

I could reel off the names, but it`d be too depressing so, put it this way, there`s more in the awful pile than good and that speaks volumes.

He`s had two windows and neither have come out particularly positive, handing us a mash-up of some decent players and some evidently not good enough.

I`m Orta out, then, but are you?
