Okay, so according to Turkish-football, Leeds are interested in signing Alvaro Negredo from Turkish side Besiktas.

Now, this is where the summer window really starts to make you wonder with just hours left in the market for permanent deals.

A player with obvious quality, Negredo has played for Sevilla, Valencia, Manchester City and Spain during his career and would bring some serious quality to our frontline.

Apparently a £3 million bid could be in the offing from the Whites and that would certainly seem pretty reasonable for a player who, despite getting old, has massive quality.

Do I see it, though? To be honest, I think there’s very little chance of this one happening when you consider all of the logistics and reasons why it might not.

For starters, what would his wage demands be? And why would Bielsa sign him when he’s hardly the most mobile?

The stuff of fantasy, I feel.
