Modern football can be a bit of a drag with all the money washing around but quite often there are plenty of feel-good stories knocking about if you look hard enough.

A club like ours certainly looks out for its own, too, and that is what has happened of late with our work at Leeds General Infirmary.

The city is united behind one club and, typically, when things like this come around, we do our very best to give it our all.

Whilst the international break has been on, then, some of our players have been visiting the children’s ward and Kalvin Phillips has been one of those.

Indeed, he put this on Instagram with one of the youngsters:

Phillips has received stick in recent seasons but this year he has been very good and, away from the pitch, he is a class act.

He’s everything a modern Leeds player should be, fair play to him.
