The Whites got back to winning ways in a professional manner last night as we put away a low on confidence Ipswich Town side in the Sky Bet Championship.

The men from Elland Road have been struggling for goals of late but with some of our key players back in the side we looked much better yesterday.

We did the job expected of us, then, but we certainly couldn’t afford to be complacent against the side that is propping up the table right now.

With that in mind, then, Liam Cooper’s comments after the game were telling – as the club’s Twitter account posted them:

Cooper has had his fair share of critics during his time at the club and many have questioned his ability to lead as captain.

This season, though, he continues to do the job and silence his critics and you have to say fair play to him for rolling his sleeves up and getting on with it.
