Some promising player contract news broke over the weekend as we signed Oriol Rey onto a new deal at the club.
The midfielder came from Barcelona and quickly showed what he could do in the youth set-up with some controlling performances in midfield.
Certainly, he is a great dictator of tempo at that level and it’ll be interesting to see if he can make the step up in the next couple of years.
And, if he produces more of this magic in that time, there’s no reason why he won’t be a hit:

The Verdict
This lad is a class act already.
Yes, he’s got to prove himself at senior level in the years to come but the way he can already use the football is very impressive indeed.
I’m certainly looking forward to seeing how he progresses and I’m sure many of you are too.
