As per the Yorkshire Evening Post, Jamie Shackleton, Ryan Edmondson and Jack Clarke are training with the club’s first-team this summer.
The trio of youngsters have evidently worked hard to get the chance to try and impress Bielsa and so perhaps there is the potential we’ll see them feature under him this season.
Meanwhile, one other that has got himself into the first-team’s training sessions is Yosuke Ideguchi after he initially had to train with the U23 side.
The Japan international has had a tough few months in his career of late but, hopefully, this will be a sign of a turn in fortunes.
The Verdict
It’ll be interesting to see how Bielsa decides to use the four in the coming weeks and months.
I don’t expect them to play regularly – well the three kids won’t at least – but if we don’t make many signings they could end up having quite important roles all of a sudden.
