Leeds United’s deadline day capture of Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah was certainly welcomed by the fanbase given our lack of alternative options at the top of the pitch following Kemar Roofe’s departure for Anderlecht, and it didn’t take the 20-year-old long to impress.
Having been given a bit of time to adjust to his new surroundings, the young lad took to the pitch for his debut in our EFL Cup clash with Salford City, and he found the back of the net.
With Patrick Bamford making it three in three for him, Nketiah continues to find his feet and in Monday afternoon’s Under 23 clash against Millwall, he found the back of the net once again as Carlos Corberan picked up another victory at that level.

Another tidy finish from him on a good break and another 45 minutes under his belt that should only help him to settle in further and get used to his new colleagues.
Great move and took that very well!
