With Leeds United continuing their preparations for this weekend’s Championship clash against Wigan Athletic, the clubs’ social media team Tweeted out what should’ve been a harmless image from training.

We head to the DW Stadium on Sunday afternoon to face last season’s League One promoted (Champions) side and with us sat in second spot on 27 points, they are only seven behind us in 14th place as they readjust to life in the second tier.

We can expect a pretty physical battle but that won’t be anything that new given the treatment some of our players have already had this year, and the physical side of life, related to the Tweet sent out.

It led to a couple of interesting reactions from a few fans.

Of far more interest was the banter it led to for a couple of the players who couldn’t resist getting involved.

Good to see the spirit in the camp really and I guess that’s what most fans will take from the little exchange, especially as players are often guarded when it comes to the media and fans – well unless you’re Pontus Jansson of course.
