The Whites’ squad has undergone some pretty dramatic changes so far this summer with Marcelo Bielsa proving more than willing to wield the axe.

The Argentinian manager came in with promises that he’d shrink the squad down and it appears as though he’s come good on that with a number of fringe players leaving in one capacity or another.

With that said, then, I put it to our fans yesterday that maybe it was time Gaetano Berardi joined the exodus but, after a close-run thing, most just about disagreed with me:

The Verdict

For me, he’s a likeable player due to his love of the club but I cannot honestly say that he is good enough.

Rash in the challenge and a hot-head far too often, I personally would let him go but it seems safe to say that we’re torn in terms of that as a fan-base at the moment.
