Despite some hiccups along the way, Leeds United have enjoyed a very good season in truth so far in the Championship under manager Marcelo Bielsa, and with thoughts turning to the FA Cup draw yesterday evening a good number of fans were hoping for a plum tie for the 2018/19 third round stage.
Playing his part in conducting the draw, Paul Ince pulled out our number as the away side and the weekend of January 5 sees us head to Loftus Road to take on this weekend’s opponents, Queens Park Rangers.
With it not being a high profile tie a fair few fans on social media thought we should simply focus on the Championship and hopefully securing promotion back to the Premier League and play the youngsters in this one to give people a more extended break. Others took the positives that it would mean a higher chance of a 3pm kickoff without the inconvenience of the broadcasters being interested.
Others sarcastically thought it would still be selected regardless.

Play the U18's up against QPR , or is that seen at putting out an understrength squad? #LUFC

Let’s just let QPR beat us and focus on the league, we can play teams like Man City or Chelsea on a weekly basis if we go up! #lufc
