Saturday’s trip to The Hawthorns to face West Bromwich Albion is probably best forgotten in many ways following the performance and the heavy defeat Leeds United suffered.
It was in many ways the how most games go for us, we utterly dominated possession and we created good chances on target, but without overly testing their goalkeeper – the difference was West Brom did far more with less of the ball and managed greater efforts on and off target and had the clinical touch to put four of them away.

Fans will surmise the 90 minutes in their own way, but Ezgjan Alioski took to social media following the full-time whistle to thank the travelling fans for their efforts on the day. With the 26-year-old taking a defence role late on again, some fans weren’t slow in coming forward when it came to their comments on his own performance.

There will be those fans who disagree with some of the comments but given the disappointment about how the game went most of them seem to be fair comment to me and not too over the top at all.
