Leeds fans have seen some famous goals over the year that their side has scored. Whilst as of late there haven’t been so many memorable ones owing to the fact that they’re currently in the Championship, they still have some big ones from years gone by, with Dominic Matteo’s against AC Milan right up there.
“A prestige goal in a prestige match” #OnThisDay in 2000, Dominic Matteo scored THAT goal at the San Siro against @acmilan pic.twitter.com/9Mx87V8UYg

The club’s former defender popped up at the San Siro in the club’s final game in the Champions League’s 1st group stage during the 2000/01 season, securing his place in Leeds folklore in both the history books and in the form of a famous song amongst the Whites.
It may be a very long time until we see Elland Road hosting Champions League football, but until then they’ve always got the magical moment that Matteo bagged from a corner in Milan 19 years ago, and if Marcelo Bielsa can get them back to the Premier League then the goal that does so will also be well remembered.
Will Leeds be in the Premier League next season?
Yes!
No!
