Leeds United players have now had their voices heard regarding the wage issue via a statement published on the clubs official website.

Following on from the previous story ‘Leeds United Players Not Paid’, the statement has been made in response to the damning media coverage that has come from the initial admittance that the players had not been paid during June. It reads:

‘Shaun Harvey spoke to the players on Tuesday morning to explain the situation to us.

‘We understand it a lot better now and and we’re hoping the club, PFA, and the Football League can resolve the situation.

‘At the moment we are in Germany and are preparing for the season in a professional manner.

‘We’re hoping the situation can be resolved by the time we return next week.’

Ahh, so life is ok again then?
