Reports in Turkey – via the Yorkshire Post – are suggesting that the Whites are interested in defender Jason Denayer.
The defender is contracted to Manchester City but has spent much of his young career on loan at the likes of Sunderland and over in Turkey.
Indeed, his spell at Sunderland was hardly groundbreaking but he was a young player then and that was at Premier League level.
Perhaps, then, he would be a good option for us as we look to build a side capable of winning promotion?
Certainly, whatever happens if this deal goes through it will be another demonstration of the Bielsa-Guardiola relationship that is beginning to yield fruit for us.
Jack Harrison has arrived whilst Denayer might be the next one and with just under a week left in the window you’d not be surprised if we see more City players linked.
Certainly, it’s going to be a hectic few days for us.
