Leeds United are flying high under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa this season, currently occupying an automatic promotion spot as they stand amongst the Championship’s leading pair.
There is still plenty of football to be played this season though and the Peacocks will be keen to ensure they do not get ahead of themselves as they fight to secure a long-awaited return to the Premier League, where they have been absent since relegation in 2004.
Confidence is high after fine performances so far this season and a vast number of the first-team squad have attracted plenty of plaudits – and it seems the displays of some are not going unnoticed from rival clubs.
Recent reports state Manchester City are long-term suitors for 18-year-old winger Jack Clarke, who has burst onto the first-team scene this season and has many fans excited about his potential for the years ahead.
Many supporters have reacted in a variety of ways to the reports and we have gathered some of their responses below.
Personally can't see this happening. Mainly because Bielsa wouldn't bring someone into his lean squad, to teach them his way of playing to then offload them. And I imagine Pep has far too much respect for Bielsa to try poach Clarke. #lufc https://t.co/uEq3chaQeT
