Despite growing concerns and protests, the club remains set to go to Burma for a brief post-season tour next month.
It seems as though this is pretty inescapable as a talking point at the moment and you can bet we’ve not heard the last of it with plenty more discussions set to be held.
With that said, then, I wouldn’t bank on us going out there just yet though it looks as though Angus Kinnear has already made a trip to see what exactly is what in the Asian nation.
Indeed, Phil Hay quoted Paul Heckingbottom as saying so, so let’s take a look at the reaction that:
Heckingbottom on the Burma tour: "Our CEO (Kinnear) is out there carrying out all the necessary checks. The club are going through all the right processes to make sure it's a trip that goes off smoothly and a trip we get something out of." #lufc

Why do I keep thinking of "It Ain't Half Hot, Mum"? whenever Angus's name crops up?π€

Letβs hope that they donβt sign half their national team for a combined fee of Β£2m just in case they think they may have uncovered some hidden gems.

The Verdict
Being honest, if it was me making the decisions I wouldn’t have even entertained the idea of sending the club out there.
It’s just a complete risk we didn’t need to bother taking when we’d be able to go elsewhere and generate interest in our team.
Let’s see what Angus finds.
