The Chris Moyles Leeds United Song!

Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles has helped to highlight just how well Leeds United have done this season with his song “We Have Got To Zero Baby.”

The wonderfully named ‘Ken-Rique E-Bates-ias’ has taken the song ‘Hero’ from Erique Iglesias (as far as we are aware is of no relation) and altered the lyrics to a more Leeds United based theme. The song was pitched to the Leeds United fans, and fans of justice. Nice one Chris!

Vital Leeds United member MightyWhiteSam has either found the lyrics, or has far too much time on his hands.

Verse 1
We were docked 15 points from the start,
It was tough but we never lost heart,
We went through it all with Dennis Wise,
Then we would probably survive.

Verse 2
Tranmere Rover and then came Southend,
A cracking start when it looked like the end,
We maybe bottom, but we should be top,
Now the only way is up.

Chorus 1
We have got to zero baby,
Minus points have all gone,
We can now start from rock bottom,
We might make the play offs in may.

Verse 3
Would you laugh if we did win the league,
It could happen if we al just believe,
With Dennis Wise and his wobbly eyes,
We can quite possibly succeed.

Chorus 2
We have got to zero baby,
Minus points have all gone,
We can now start from rock bottom,
We might make the play offs in may.

Chorus 3
We have got to zero baby,
Minus points have all gone,
We can now start from rock bottom,
We might make the play offs in may.

Chorus 4 with shouting
WE HAVE GOT TO ZERO BABY,
MINUS POINTS HAVE ALL GONE,
WE CAN NOW START FROM ROCK BOTTOM,
WE MIGHT MAKE THE PLAY OFFS IN MAY
