Leeds United finally have another piece of good news on the injury front at the club, skipper Liam Cooper is now back out on the pitch and in training following his knee injury.
The 27-year-old underwent surgery out in Italy after picking up the problem in the Yorkshire clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane at the beginning of December, and having missed the last couple of games, it has been confirmed that he has returned to training quicker than originally anticipated.
Nobody will be expecting to see him this weekend against Aston Villa, but depending on how training goes for him, as long as there’s no breakdown or complications, we could definitely see him before the turn of the New Year – which would obviously be a bonus as originally most thought he wouldn’t return to training before January.

Taking to social media to react to the short video, fans were obviously delighted to see him back out on the grass.
Too right pal, I agree.
