It looks like this one could be dragged out a little bit.
Just as well there’s another deadline for us to work to, otherwise the whole thing might have been in a whole lot of jeopardy. At least that’s what I can gather from the latest update regarding a young prospect at Elland Road.
I’m talking of course about Robbie Gotts. Having been linked with a move away from the club on loan for some time now, there hasn’t been a lot of progress when it comes to the 20-year-old’s departure, and it appears as though there isn’t set to be for a little while yet.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, clubs still haven’t made up their mind as to whether or not they want to bring him in:
Swindon taking their time. Others interested. https://t.co/VTV0pU0tSm

What should the future hold for Gotts?
Minutes from the bench, at least
Loan move away
Sold
Hopefully whatever club does want to bring him make up their mind soon. It’s obvious given the amount of apparent interest that people think it’s time for him to get some first-team football.
So for that to be pulled away from him at this stage and then be forced into another year in the U23 side would be a real disappointed for him, and would also hurt us long-term by stunting his development.
What about you? What do you make of this news about Gotts?
