With massive disappointment for Leeds United fans in Wednesday evening’s Championship Play-Off Semi-Final loss to Derby County, social media has certainly been a lively place over the past couple of days and even Hollywood megastar Russell Crowe got in on the action.
With some fans in meltdown, others looking for the positives and pundits either praising our progress under manager Marcelo Bielsa or taking a cheap pot shot, Crowe’s message was simply and concise.
leeds…
Next year. We’ll be right.

With fans previously calling on Crowe to buy up the club given his sporting interests, whilst that didn’t happen it certainly gained us some headlines at the time and it seems the Gladiator star (other films are available) continues to keep a pretty close eye on us.
There were some good responses from fans to his Tweet and there were those who agreed with his assessment.
Takes 3 yrs to make a full functioning squad. 1 yr Bielsa transformed lack lustre to super. NEXT YEAR! @LUFC #lufc #mot #ALAW
