I thought we all agreed we were done with Spygate? When Bielsa paid the fine, wasn’t that meant to be the end of the matter?
Well, it appears as though Derby County are still holding a grudge over the whole affair. Appearing on Talksport with Jim White today, Derby owner Mel Morris talked about a number of issues, including the recent speculation regarding manager Frank Lampard’s possible move to Chelsea.
Leeds United fans though were never going stay quiet over the whole affair, and they took to Twitter to air their views over what they perceive to be an obsession with them. Whilst some took shots at Morris and Derby over the comments, others played a more diplomatic game and turned the blame on themselves and their team’s performances, rather than Bielsa not being able to spy on opponents.

He needs to concentrate on his own club. It was nothing to do with spygate why we were dropping points , that was purely down to horrific injuries & scoring 2 goals from 108 shots or something daft like that.

…and Derby will still be playing them next season. Derby just can’t get over this, can they. Get over it lads, it wasn’t even cheating.

???????????? nothing to do with the chances we created we didn’t take. Looking to unbalance Leeds already, he knows what’s coming.

Don’t think Spygate accounts for the Wigan debacle or our misses v Sheffield United or for that matter the Cooper/ Kiko fiasco v Derby.there were signs of stress much https://t.co/JgPg2ZC9xW average squad couldn’t keep the wins coming, mistakes crept in and injuries didn’t help

or before and after having Samu Saiz and not a million injuries.

It seems as though this is going to be a constant theme for the foreseeable future if both sides don’t agree to leave it in the past. This affair combined with their dramatic playoff semi-final game last season, their meetings on the 21st of September and 25th of April are certainly going to be two of the most highly anticipated games of the season.
