Phil Hay has had a tough summer this year with it evident that the club is not giving too much away transfer rumour wise.
Still the main man we go to for rumours, though, he’s doing his very best in what’s proving a frustrating window for many this time around.
And, on an up note, it looks as though the transfer of Jamal Blackman could be a matter of when not if judging by his latest discussion with a fan.
He said:
Blackman can't be far away. Does look like that will go ahead. Still waiting for other deals to materialise. Vydra etc all unchanged.

It looks like the deal will go ahead, then, though I won’t get too excited about that until we actually see him holding aloft a goalkeeper’s jersey with our badge on it.
The Verdict
Blackman would be a decent stopper with obvious experience of this division.
He played well last season for Sheffield United and if he could replicate that form for us he’d surely bring a bit more steel to our defensive line.
