Sour Grapes Mr Martinez?

Swansea City manager Roberto Martinez seems to have a bit of an issue about the way we play? It May have something to do with being out-played by Leeds on Saturday?

Vital Leeds member yorkshirepride1 highlighted this in our forums. Here is just a selection of his quotes:

‘Leeds are quite happy not to play their way out of the division,’

‘They are happy to scrap for every result and the fans don’t mind that because they feel they have been harshly treated by the Football League. ‘

‘There’s nothing wrong with that, but I think any other big clubs with big expectations would find it hard to play that way.’

Alternatively, when looking at the two squads, Mr Martinez seems to be fairly happy with the squad he saw defeated by goals from David Prutton and Jermaine Beckford:

‘Leeds depend a lot on two players and through a long, long, season anything can happen. Injuries and suspensions can play a big part, so we are certainly not all playing for second place with such a long way to go.’

‘I do believe that Leeds are probably the team to beat at the moment, but it’s a long season and I certainly wouldn’t swap the squads.’

First Hartlepool, now Swansea, what is it with the management, players and supporters of other League One clubs completley missing the point that we’ve played 7, won 7 and therefore that may just make us a good side?

Still sure you don’t want to swap Roberto?
