Leeds United have shone in the Championship this season but their promotion push is in danger of hitting the rocks after the Peacocks suffered three consecutive defeats across all competitions.
The January transfer window presents an opportunity for the club to solve some of their issues and there is plenty of rumours concerning potential additions in the final third, with speculation that a new forward could be drafted in.
According to journalist Jon Mackenzie, Leeds have come in at the last minute with interest in Willem II striker Fran Sol – who sits second in the Eredivisie scoring charts this season with a return of 13 goals in 17 matches.
It is claimed the 26-year-old Spaniard was set for a move to MLS outfit Real Salt Lake but backed out at the last minute amidst reported interest from the Championship leaders, which has led to a number of reactions on social media.
