Soon To Be Out Of Contract Goal Threat Is On Leeds’ Radar According To Reports

|

It has been claimed this week that Leeds United are keen to add League Two starlet Reece Brown to our ranks over the summer given the campaign that he’s had for Forest Green Rovers in 2018/19.

The 23-year-old striker has chipped in with ten goals and 14 assists to help the former non-league side into fifth place in the League Two table with promotion via the Play-Offs a big possibility for them and given the manner of his appearances for the club, according to Football Insider Leeds are simply the latest club to be linked with him.

It’s claimed that the likes of Bristol City and Reading have already been sniffing around him, but it’s believed that Victor Orta has now lodged a firm interest in him on our behalf. The player is out of contract in the summer and would only require a nominal training compensation fee so it’s certainly understandable as to why he’d be worth a gamble from our point of view.

Whether he can step up and carry goal threat at either Championship or Premier League level is the unknown, but given his assists and the fact he can play through the middle or on either wing, that versatility could be an asset.

Given the youth angle of late at Leeds, I could certainly see this one coming off.
