One word. Frustrating.
Leeds lost their first game away from home this season as they were beaten 1-0 at The Valley against Charlton Athletic.
There wasn’t really all that much going on during the opening exchanges as the first twenty minutes or so passed without incident. Although that’s not to say there weren’t any chances for the visitors to take the lead.
Just need another 30 chances and we’ll be 1 up

This man seemed to have the right idea for how to spice things up a bit.

I mean, it worked against Barnsley, so maybe he was onto something.
Leeds would be made to pay for not taking their chances as the hosts took the lead just past the half-hour mark.

Why can’t kiko save the small amount of chances that go near him

Screamdelic got his wish at half-time as Eddie Nketiah was brought on at half-time, but would he be able to make an impact?
Well he certainly didn’t for most of the second half, as the hosts managed to keep Leeds at bay, and it was certainly taking its toll on these fans.
Same old same old. Loads of possession no result. We need to start putting these teams to the sword

The usual. Repeating something that doesn’t work with players devoid of confidence

As the game entered its final stages, would the visitors be able to find that breakthrough they were searching for?
Don’t hold your breath

No they would not, as Leeds would lose both the game and their undefeated streak away from home.
Something clearly wrong as this is becoming normal now…
