It’s been reported that Leeds United have joined the hunt for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood.
The Yorkshire Evening Post claimed that we had joined the hunt for the 27-year-old experienced Northern Ireland international with him already being heavily linked to the likes of Hull City so far this window.
The player spent the 2017/18 campaign out on loan as he fell down Brighton’s pecking order following their promotion into the top flight and helped Fulham to Play-Off promotion themselves last term with five goals in 24 starting appearances and 17 substitute showings across all competitions.
The main suggestion of a fee for Norwood seems to be in the region of £1.5million and a number of Leeds fans would add him as a body for that price, especially given the experience he brings with him.
Norwood + a loan CB and happy days

Not fussed about Norwood, not a starter for me but decent squad player. A quality cb is vital.

Taking Norwood for 1.5 million looks a bargain to me.

With the permanent transfer window slamming shut later this evening, the loan window remains open to the end of the month and that does seem a more likely means of adding a couple of new faces to the group rather than rushing to get any permanent deals over the line, but you never know.
