Leeds United returned to the summit of the Championship standings on Sunday after a hard-fought victory over Wigan.
The Peacocks fell behind early on but Pablo Hernandez levelled the scores with his equaliser after nine minutes, before Kemar Roofe scored the winning goal in the second period – taking his tally for the season to seven goals in ten matches.
After a flying start to the season, Marcelo Bielsa’s side have found things a bit more difficult in recent months but many were left impressed by the team’s resilience and response after falling behind against the Latics.
A post from the club’s official Twitter account this week identified the hard work being put in by the player’s off the ball, sharing a clip of the victory over Wigan that showed seven outfield players tracking back to win back possession.
It is fair to say that went down a treat with supporters on social media and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.

That’s the kind of work ethic and discipline that wins championships! It warms an old supporter’s heart to see such dedication and team spirit.
