Well the shake-up of the squad isn’t exactly going to plan is it?
I like that Paul Heckingbottom is trying to get something different out of the lads but, up to now, we’ve not really seen it.
The only positive from the rotation of players that I’ve noted is Bailey Peacock-Farrell and so we certainly need to keep changing things up between now and the summer to ensure we’ve got an idea of who we want to keep.
Of course, we’ve already a decent knowledge of some players we think will go – I can’t see Mateusz Klich or Pawel Cibicki staying put for example – though some still have time to prove themselves.
One man that fits that description is surely Jay-Roy Grot after what has been a tough year for him.
I still think he’s got something to offer given his young age and, after scoring in the latest U23 game we’ve had, plenty of other fans of our club have discussed his future too.
Let’s take a look at what has been said on Twitter.

Both of Jay-Roy Grot’s goals from yesterday.
Both fairly well taken, especially the second. #lufc pic.twitter.com/ghxC1ErJee
