Leeds United have been flying so far this season and kickstarted December in the perfect fashion after edging past Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United.

The result gives the Peacocks a perfect platform to build upon during the busy festive period that lies ahead, where Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be looking to extend a winning run that currently stands at three matches.

Leeds’ response to defeat against promotion rivals West Brom prior to the international break in November has been superb as the Peacocks have not put a foot wrong, opening up a four-point cushion over the third-placed Baggies despite that defeat.

A key part of the resurgence has been 33-year-old star Pablo Hernandez, who scored in three of Leeds’ four matches in November and extended his fine run of form by netting the only goal of the game at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

Hernandez has now unsurprisingly been named as PFA Player of the Month for November and fans took to social media to give their reaction to the award. We have gathered some of their responses below.
