Leeds United extended their gap at the top of the Championship table with victory over Rotherham United at the weekend.
Having headed to the New York Stadium for the tie on Saturday, manager Marcelo Bielsa saw his side fight back from behind in the game with Mats Klich helping himself to a second half brace as we secured all three points and reopened a three point gap over Norwich City in second spot.
With plenty of positives and praise coming from the 90 minutes for fans as we got back to winning ways after our recent wobble, Rotherham manager Paul Warne had an interesting take on their opening goal from Semi Ajayi who gave them the advantage 28 minutes in and in referencing the Spygate furore he seems to have won himself a few fans from Elland Road as they took to social media following the match to react to his post-game comment.
Paul Warne on Ajayi's finish: "There’s no way Biesla would have prepared for that because I haven’t even seen it in training.” #lufc

Warne has a sense of humour and a touch of class, unlike some others in the Championship. Hope he does well, unless it's against us. Well played today Rotherham. MOT, ALAW.

Game play for their goal was class and the finish was outstanding. Dont think theres many who would have saved that. Another slog for 3pts, really hope we start to win games comfortably. Not had many since start of the season. And we go on #mot #lufc

Fingers crossed for Rotherham to stay up. They played well with lots of heart & spirit. Disrupted Leeds' attacking style well. Goal was top class, as is Paul Warne. Good family club.

Fair play, No one was prepared for that let's be honest. Bet Casilla was thinking "I hope all the goals in England aren't like that"
