Selection Dilemma For Heckingbottom. Who Gets The Nod?

Our game on Friday is a doubt thanks to the weather but assuming it goes ahead it`s a great chance to get ourselves closer to the top six battle.

It would be typical Leeds for us to finally get a little bit of momentum after last weekend to only have our next match called off, but at least we`ve got that to complain about after what`s happened so far in 2018.

For me, we could finally be set for another run of good form and the play-offs are still in touching distance, which is why I want to see Hecky nail his team selection for Friday.

I`ve been impressed with Paul, though we haven`t won many under him we`ve been putting in shifts and some decent displays, so I think he looks the right man for the job.

Against Boro, though, I`d like to see him introduce Vieira back into the side after he played only a handful of minutes last weekend.

I know Ronaldo can divide opinion at times thanks to his occasional rashness but, that said, pretty much all our midfielders have the same ability to split the fan base – Forshaw aside who looks a real player even at this early stage.

Of course, it`s a risk in a big game that we play Vieira if he gets rattled, but Kalvin Phillips picks up bookings for fun and I don`t think Eunan O`Kane is always good enough for these big clashes.

O`Kane can sometimes get out-fought and overrun in games like this and we can`t afford that on Friday. We need mobility and tenacity in the middle of the park if we`re to come away with three points and, in my mind, that means the 19-year-old needs to start from the get-go on Friday.

Agree with me, should Vieira start? Let me know in the poll!
