With just over a week left in the summer transfer window owing to the decision to close the purchase side of things early this year, Leeds United fans will be hoping that it becomes a busy week for the club to make up for our shyness earlier in the month.
It's been evident in pre-season that Ronaldo Vieira is a down the pecking order at Leeds. Don't think he's itching to leave but the Sampdoria interest is real. #lufc

With a clear focus on still strengthening Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team group ahead of the Championship kick-off, last week speculation surfaced on the rumour mill about a potential departure for 20-year-old youngster Ronaldo Vieira.
With a mixed pre-season for the lad plenty think he should be heavily leant on this season, but Bielsa seems to have different ideas and Italian Serie A club Sampdoria have been credited with an interest in his services – differing reports bounce from a simple loan deal to a permanent one but a fee of £7million seems a popular choice.
Despite his obvious talent, again there are those who feel he should be a mainstay in the side, there is a section amongst the Elland Road fanbase that feel he hasn’t progressed as he should’ve done and has largely stalled so they aren’t against seeing him depart.
I’m with Tim. Do you want to win?

If he wasn’t an academy lad he’d get hammered on here! His form has been way off for a while now

I agree with you @harryjackman902 but we are obviously going for it this/next season. If it means we could afford to go in for player/s that would make a difference now, I would sell. What Ronnie can do few years later won’t help us now. Worry about that another day. If ever!

Relax it’s sky sources. They still think Pablo plays for Swansea pic.twitter.com/cchm1wiBZb

We have an owner intent on spending as little as possible. Buys will be covered with sales it’s really that simple.

100% agree mate . Read my timeline over the last week and you can see I predicted this and Pontus . Awful

Call me cynical, Phil, but didn't we get £3m for Burnley staying up as part of Wood's deal? That's Douglas covered.
Flog Vieira to cover Bamford, still leaves T Rex arms on minimal spend.

He looked dreadful yesterday. But then so did quite a few others.

I'm not running him down i just think 7 mill is good price for him. And plus once we get promoted and sign cook and Delph he won't get a look in ????????????????????

Alls good if we use the whole £7m for another player. For example Maddison and a CB
— Michael Harris (@Mick85LUFC) July 30, 2018
Guess you could say Ronaldo for bamford?
— Oliver (@ollieramage) July 30, 2018
That could be because he is inexperienced. I’m sure consistency would come with age…..
— JM (@jonomount) July 30, 2018
Think it'd be a bad idea to sell him. We forget how young he is and the ceiling of his potential. He can become a kind of a specialist for his position IMO. We shouldn't be selling unless it's a ridiculous amount.

I can't believe fans would want him to leave. One of our brightest prospects who dipped form after an injury. Still won silverware with the England youth and has bags of ability

It will pay for Bamford!!
— Lee Galley (@lee_galley) July 30, 2018
Was really looking forward to seeing him develop under Bielsa. This is a real shame. #LUFC
