‘Rubbish’, ‘I’ll be gutted’ – Loads of Leeds fans react to potential club reveal

|

Leeds United are yet to reveal our new away or third kit for what will be our centenary season, but a potential design shared on Reddit has sparked a flurry of activity.

Our traditional colours being White, Yellow and Blue were kept for the home and goalkeeper jerseys, but it appears the potential away or third kit will deviate massively from the club’s historical shades.

Seemingly the rumoured pink and grey strip which emerged on social media recently will indeed be the design used for at least one of our kits next season, after Andrea Radrizzani’s child was allegedly spotted wearing it as the squad exited the tunnel against Cagliari at the weekend.

Only the side-view of the potential strip can be spotted, but it is enough to show pink detailing running down the side of a grey shirt, with the pink continuing on the ends of the sleeves and for the kappa logos, as speculated in the previous renders.

Given the angle of the photo, though, it is not possible to tell whether the Leeds United badge will also be in pink as first speculated, or whether the modified gold logo will be the one used for the actual design.

The club had boasted record sales for the home kit for our centenary season, with the same amount of units sold in the first 12 days of it hitting shops than they had sold of last year’s design in the first 12 weeks after its release.

Next term’s goalkeeper jersey also broke records, with five times as many of the blue and yellow strip sold and the club forced to re-stock the shot-stopper shirt for the first time in Leeds’ history.

Going by these reactions, though, the club will not be rushed off their feet sending out orders for the potential pink and grey away or third strip…
