He picked up a League One champions medal with Swansea City, now new signing Andy Robinson wants to do it all over again with Leeds United.

Robbo has agreed to leave the Swans and head for Yorkshire as he became Gary McAllister’s first new signing for the 2008/09 season, one spent unfortunately once more in the old 2nd Division.

The midfielder was named in the League One team of the year and was largely considered an integral part of Roberto Martinez’s promotion push, however this has not detracted from his desire to get cracking with Leeds United.

“It’s a tough division and a hard league, but hopefully my experience will help and I’m looking to do same the thing at Leeds,” he told the official club website Leedsunited.com

“I just can’t wait to pull a Leeds shirt on,”

“No one had to sell this club to me. It’s massive. I’ve had five good years at Swansea, now I’m looking forward to some good years here.

“I can’t wait to get a good pre-season in and get started again.”

I’d have a holiday first Andy!
