Keeping a close eye on youth at Leeds United is nothing new with manager Marcelo Bielsa already showing that he has no concerns with promoting the next generation through if he believes they can do the job he asks of them and another talented lad got his break yesterday as he put pen to paper on his first professional deal in the game.
17-year-old Jack Jenkins has signed a two and a half year deal at Elland Road after progressing well through our youth system, and his new deal replaced the scholarship terms.
???? | #LUFC are pleased to announce Academy midfielder Jack Jenkins has signed professional terms with the club

The highly-rated midfielder has signed a deal until 2021 and he’s been a regular for our Under 18 side so far in 2018/19, more than playing his part in seeing them emulate our first team as they sit top of the Professional Development League North table. He was also involved in the side last season, despite his age, as they won the division.
Time will tell if he’s the next name off the production line for us.
Now for Casilla and for Clarke extension.
