Leeds were held to a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest at the weekend, securing an equaliser through Kemar Roofe’s controversial late goal, but the biggest disappointment came in the first half.
The Peacocks lost Luke Ayling to injury and it has since been confirmed that the full-back will be sidelined until the New Year, spending at least eight weeks on the sidelines and leaving Marcelo Bielsa’s side short of options in the full-back area.
Ayling himself took to social media to express his frustration with his latest setback and fans were quick to respond, providing encouragement to the 27-year-old who had previously missed just one of Leeds’ opening 15 fixtures.
