With ‘Spygate’ again creating headlines this week, another decision by the EFL has infuriated Leeds United fans.
With Queens Park Rangers progressing through to the FA Cup fifth round with victory over Portsmouth on Tuesday evening, as a consequence, our Championship encounter with them at Loftus Road has been bounced from the weekend and given a ridiculous Tuesday evening kickoff.
The game was originally due to take place on Saturday February 16, but will now take place ten days later on Tuesday, February 26 with a 7.45pm kickoff.
Fans reacting to the confirmation coming in from the club yesterday were quick to note that it meant we were now cramming in three matches in a ridiculously short period of time.
With everything else going on in the press and the standard outlook Leeds fans have with the authorities down the years, the ‘them and us’ mentality was quickly on show with some feeling it was a further attempt to derail us.

Whilst I get the sentiment, this is now commonplace and QPR themselves have a similar ‘cram’ starting this Saturday, and it’s basically just how the fixtures fall, unfortunately.
I also believe clubs themselves agree dates and then seek ratification from the authorities when it comes to re-arrangements, so it’s not the EFL stiffing us.
Granted, few will look at it like that though.
