“Ridiculous engine on him” – Lots of Leeds fans “100% agree” with lavish praise for £2.7m-rated ace

Lots of Leeds United fans have been agreeing with Adam Forshaw on social media after the midfielder named Stuart Dallas as his Whites Player of the Season.

While Forshaw has only managed to feature in seven Championship fixtures this term as a result of his injury hell with a hip issue that required two operations, Dallas has played the second-most minutes (3,274) of any United player despite never holding down any particular position as his own.

The £2.7million-rated ace has accumulated his action from 12 outings at left-back, 10 at right-back, eight from the right-wing and seven from central midfield, while contributing three goals and one assist to date.

Forshaw is in no doubt that Dallas’ work, regardless of where he is fielded by Marcelo Bielsa, makes him the clear contender for the club’s Player of the Season accolade, even over the efforts of Kalvin Phillips, Ben White and Pablo Hernandez.

“As someone who can go on and be the best, I would say Ben or Kalvin,” Forshaw said on Colin Murray’s 52 podcast. “Last year and in terms of what they do for the team when they play I would say Pablo.

“But I would say Stuart Dallas at the moment, he would be my player of the year all day.
