One of the parties interested in purchasing Leeds United Duncan Revie looks set to re-enter the race for control of the club.

As Vital Leeds reported previously, it was originally believed that Revie would not be able to find sufficient funds and structure in time for the CVA meeting to be held on June 1st.

Revie has presented proof of funds to the clubs administrators KPMG and told the Yorkshire Evening Post: The situation has changed and we’ve upped the pace.

‘We haven’t lodged a formal bid but we have lodged proof of funds, and that gives us the chance to have a good look at the figures.

‘My backer and I need to assess the club’s position and be certain of exactly what we’d be taking on. But we’re very serious about this, as we’ve always been.’
