The Whites have been linked with plenty of names but, annoyingly, we’re yet to get deals for them over the line.
It is, of course, nice to see that the club is linked with such players but, at the same time, until we actually get these players signed it means very little.
Even so, the Yorkshire Evening Post’s update on Angus Gunn is cause for optimism.
The goalkeeper is still at Manchester City after an impressive loan deal with Norwich City last summer and the report claims we are still going after him as our prime target stopper wise.
Certainly, he’s the best goalkeeper we’ve been linked with this summer and I’d love to see him come in.
The Verdict
Gunn is a top young ‘keeper and good enough for the Premier League.
We want to get back there by the end of this season, of course, and it would seem that we’re aiming for players accordingly.
