Leeds United are one of several Premier League clubs who have made contact with Liverpool about the possible signing of Harry Wilson, a report from The Liverpool Echo has claimed.

Wilson has spent the last two seasons out on loan with Derby and Bournemouth respectively, and scored seven goals in 31 Premier League appearances for the Cherries last season, although he was unable to prevent them suffering relegation from English football’s top-flight.

Now it seems as though Wilson could be on the move again this summer, although this time on a permanent basis.

According to the latest reports, Leeds have enquired to Liverpool about the availability of Wilson, who is thought to be valued at £20million by the reigning Premier League champions.

The Whites are not the only club who seem keen to secure the services of the 23-year-old this summer, with Newcastle and Southampton both also said to have made contact with Liverpool about the possible signing of Wilson.

With Leeds still seemingly keen to add another attacking outlet to their squad this summer, Wilson could be a more than decent signing for them, from a football perspective at least.

The attacker has shown over the past couple of seasons that he can both score and create goals, and he will surely be desperate to prove a point in the years to come, having never really been handed an opportunity at Anfield, despite his obvious ability.

Even so, at £20million, this is not going to be cheap for Leeds, and while they may be able to afford, you have to wonder whether there are other potential transfer targets out there who could give them better value for money right now.
