Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban headed out back in August to spend a season with Turkish side Trabzonspor.

Having arrived from Chievo back in the summer of 2017, the 24-year-old has 13 starting appearances to his name, with a further eight showings from the bench, but those games did only return two goals.

His spell at Trabzonspor has gone well now he’s adjusted as according to Soccerbase he now has four goals to his name in three starts and eleven substitute showings, and they have come inside of his last seven appearances.

Outlet Fotomac have claimed this week that the club are pleased with him, and with a reported permanent buy clause in the loan deal, they will now be looking to use that before the summer to ensure he stays with them on a longer term basis.

They claim a fee of one million Euros has already been agreed to turn the deal permanent and a return of around £878,000 given he’s not in manager Marcelo Bielsa’s thoughts isn’t bad business as we look to the future.
