Leeds United extended their winning run to three consecutive matches after edging past Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United on Saturday.
The Peacocks secured their first win at Bramall Lane since 1992 with a hard-fought display and the result was only sealed in the last few minutes, with Pablo Hernandez tucking home the only goal of the game in a 1-0 triumph.
Fans on social media were aggrieved with some of the decisions that did not go their way during the game though, with many feeling that the Blades were fortunate to end the game with 11 men and believe they should have had a penalty.
Leeds striker Kemar Roofe added more fuel to the fire by posting an image on Instagram that showed his shirt being pulled, alongside a caption that read ‘standard procedure’ – and many joked he could now be issued a ban from the FA.
We have gathered some of the reactions to Roofe’s post below.
That wasn’t a pen!! You play for Leeds. If you played for any other club it would have been.

Did you enjoy being picked up and carried around the penalty area today? Saves on stamina I suppose.

You’d think the only way to sort this would be to complain to @EFL. Or go skins.

It’s standard when you play for Leeds. Thought your booking was a disgrace. What are you meant to do? Get clattered?
