Recent report suggests penny has dropped with Bielsa for key transfer area

|

At the start of the season, we were probably hoping for some more signings than we ended up getting.

Marcelo Bielsa seemed adamant he could get results without a big squad, though, and to be fair he has been proven right so far.

However, we still need to add in the summer regardless of what division we are in next year and it seems as though the penny has dropped for the Argentine if one report is to be believed.

According to the Times, Leeds are interested in Matt Clarke from Portsmouth in what would be a fine transfer for the Whites.

The defender was immense yesterday afternoon as Portsmouth won the EFL Trophy and it is clear that he is the sort of centre-half you want to see at the club.

Behind Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper we have no real senior options and so it seems Bielsa is ready to change that up in the summer.

Fingers crossed.
